HMDT Music - The Music Box
Service details
Do you want to introduce your child to the world of music-making and explore the foundations of music with them in an engaging, interactive environment?
Then come and join The Music Box at our Saturday Programme to begin your child's musical journey with HMDT Music and explore the foundations of music in a fun and interactive way! In this family learning programme for under 4s, you and your child will be introduced to guest artists from a range of cultural traditions and musical genres and explore rhythms and melodies. As parents, you will gain the confidence to share in the joy of music-making with your children, embarking on their first musical venture.
This is a recurring class, and by sending in an application form you are expressing your interest in this activity for the whole term. Classes take place on Saturdays during term time at Bridge Academy in Hackney and are split into Younger (ages 6 months to 2 years) and Older (ages 3 to 4 years) to ensure that your child progresses at the right rate for them.
The Music Box for children with SEND
HMDT Music is committed to ensuring that music is for all - we also have a specialist SEND Music Box programme for the over 2s. You don't need to have a specific diagnosis at the time of applying as many children don't receive these until later. The class operates very slightly differently to what is described above - for more information please do get in touch with one of our team members.
