Who runs this session and who is it for? 

The Neuro-Developmental Team (NDT) in City Hackney hosts a monthly Coffee Morning for parents or carers of children or young people under 18 years of age with a diagnosis of; ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and/or ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder). 

The NDT Coffee Morning is a reflective space to come together online, pause, reflect on, and share their experiences.

The Coffee Morning is hosted by CAMHS and an expert by experience.

What will happen at the sessions? 

The Coffee Morning offers a reflective and supportive space to share experiences and learn from each other.

Each Coffee Morning will be themed and we may invite guest speakers from different specialisms to share their expertise which we hope families will find helpful. 

What are the dates and topics for 2023/24 ?

The Coffee Morning will take place on the last Thursday of each month.

• Emotionally Based School Avoidance 9EBSA) and SEN Support in Schools -  Thursday 28 September 
• Low mood - Thursday 26 October
• Challenging Behaviour - Thursday 30 November
• No Coffee Morning December 
• Anxiety - Thursday 25 January
• Gender - Thursday 29 February 
• Couple Relationships - Thursday 28 March 

Time? 

• Morning session 10 am to 11 am. 
• Evening session aimed specifically at fathers 6 pm to 7 pm.

Where are the sessions? 

At the moment we are only offering online sessions via Zoom.

This may change in the future.
