About this playscheme

The holiday scheme organised by Hackney Education presents a varied array of captivating activities tailored to enrich the overall experience for children.

These activities encompass a broad spectrum, spanning arts and crafts, both indoor and outdoor games, opportunities for free play, cooking sessions, and thrilling outings.

The programme promises children a comprehensive and dynamic experience, cultivating a vibrant and stimulating atmosphere for both enjoyment and skill development.

The overarching objective is to craft an unforgettable and enriching encounter for all children, nurturing creativity, social interaction, and exploration among children aged 4 to 12 years.

When does the playscheme run from and to? 

Monday (not on the bank Holiday) to Friday from Tuesday 2 April to Friday 12 April 2024

Times 8.45 am to 5.45 pm

Benthal Primary School, Benthal Road, Hackney, N16 7AU

How much does the playschem cost? 

The cost for Children aged 4-7 is £20 per day
The cost for Children aged 8-12 - £18 per day

There is an additional cost for some outings.

Lunch

A packed lunch must be provided for your child each day.

If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities and will require additional support to access the holiday scheme, please email,  Anthony Greenidge at anthony.greenidge@hackney.gov.uk to discuss their support needs.

How can I book a place for my child? 

Places are available to book online from Monday 18 March 2024.

After 18 March you can book a place online here. 

Important information

• All parents must bring proof of their address and of their children’s date of birth to the first session
• We do not give refunds on places that have been booked once the scheme has started, even if your child is unable to attend the session
• A late fee of £2 for every 5 minutes is payable if you are late in collecting your child
• The play scheme will take no responsibility for lost or damaged property including mobile phones. Hand-held computer games and other electrical equipment will not be allowed at the play scheme
