Dalston C.L.R. James Library is the first new library to be built in Hackney for over 20 years.

Monday to Friday 9am - 8pm
Saturday 9am – 5pm
Sunday 1pm – 5pm
Sci-Fi reading group: third Thursday of every month, 6pm – 7.45pm
Film Club: First Thursday of every month, 5.30pm – 7.30pm (Free to join for all library members aged 16+, but some films may not be suitable for anyone aged below 18)
Adult reading group: Last Friday of every month, 6.30pm – 7.30pm
Fees apply for some services i.e. photocopying
What to do if you have a complaint
If you have any feedback about the service you received – something you like or are not happy with; then do talk about it with the worker or manager in the service, so that they can look at how they deliver their service.
