Simon Marks Jewish Primary School

Service details

Simon Marks is a Voluntary Aided Jewish Primary School. Faith schools can be different kinds of schools but are associated with a particular religion. The reception intake is for 30 children per academic year.

Faith schools are mostly run like other state schools. They have to follow the national curriculum except for religious studies. The admissions criteria and staffing policies may be different too, although anyone can apply for a place.

Please see Hackney Education's website to find Voluntary aided primary school supplementary forms

Information about support for children with additional needs

The government has asked schools to provide information about support for children with additional needs.

SEN Information Reports (SEN - Special Educational Needs) are intended to tell you the practical day-to-day approach taken within each individual school. They should be written in a way that is helpful, clear, and meaningful for parents.

Please see the school website for these reports, ask the school for a printed copy, or see the following Hackney Local Offer articles:

Simon Marks Autism Resources Provision (ARP)
