Who we are:
Pearson Street Adventure Playground is an adventure playground open to all children and young people in Hackney.
What we do:
We offer a free, drop in, play and youth club service for children and young people aged 6 to 16, funded by Young Hackney (Hackney Council).
Hackney Play Association at Pearson Street Adventure Playground are offering Saturday sessions specifically for children and young people with:
- a disability
- learning or cognitive difficulty
- sensory impairment of difficulty
Parents and carers must stay with their child or young person but can socialise together while play workers help engage their children in play activities and making friends.
Day: Saturdays during school term time
Time: 12pm - 4pm
Dates for 2019:
- February: 2nd, 9th, 16th
- March: 2nd ,9th,16th, 23rd, 30th
- April: 6th, 27th
- May: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th,
- June: 1st, 8th,15th,22nd,29th
- July: 6th, 13th
Activities include:
- Discovering the Adventure Play site and its structures, swings and dens, where you can play, slide, run, roll, swing.
- Meet up with and make new friends
- Try Arts and Crafts, Sports, Bikes, Dancing, Cooking, Gardening, jewellery-making and more…
Notes
We will be closed for the stay and play sessions during the Summer Holidays, but parents are still welcome to bring their children along to our daily playscheme, which runs from

Parking: Pay & Display
We are very close to Hoxton station (lift access available).
Parents can on Saturdays park in the road directly outside (restriction free on Saturday afternoons), limited on site parking for those with disabilities by arrangement.
Disabled drivers could park off road on site, close to building, step free access by arrangement. Please call the service to agree this option.
