Queensbridge Primary School

Service details

Queensbridge is a Community Primary School. This means it is regulated by the local council and not influenced by business or religious groups. The reception class intake is for 60 children each academic year.

Breakfast and after-school clubs

Extended schools, after-school clubs, breakfast clubs and holiday clubs or playschemes, can help parents balance work and family life. They are Ofsted-regulated and offer parents and carers a cost-effective and safe solution to before and after-school childcare.

Support for children with additional needs

All schools must provide information about support for children with additional needs or SEN (Special Educational Needs).

This information is known as a School SEN Information Report. These reports explain the practical day-to-day approach taken within each school. They should be written in a way that is helpful, clear, and meaningful for parents.

Please see the school website for their latest School SEN Information Report, ask the school for a printed copy, or see the following Hackney Local Offer article:

Queesnbridge Schools SEN Information Report is linked further down this page.

Additional Autism Resourced Provision (ARP)

Queensbridge School has an Autism Resourced Provision. Children may be able to access this provision if they have an Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plan, and autism is their most significant need. Find information about Autism Resourced Provision in Hackney here. This information also explains more about the application process and decision panel.

Queesnbridge Schools ARP parent information leaflet gives a more detailed explanation of how support within the school's ARP works.
