Description

Who we are:

Kidzmania is a soft play centre in the heart of Hackney where generations of children have played safely over the last 25 years. Children aged up to 12 years are welcome to attend the sessions.

What we do:

We have slides and tunnels, ball pools and a range of children’s play vehicles so they can climb, run, skip, jump, play and burn off lots of energy while parents and carers catch up with each other.

Cafe

Parents/carers enjoy a coffee or tea in our Café where we prepares fresh food including:

  • pasta
  • pizza
  • sandwiches and paninis

The kitchen is open from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm.

A range of cakes, snacks and cold drinks and water is also available.

Birthday Parties

We can help organise great birthday parties for children that include a play session and sit down meal. So, you can enjoy the party and not worry about tidying up afterwards. Note: Booking essential for birthday parties.

Notes

Over a year ago we were required to move out of the original premises in Powell Road, where Kidzmania had run it’s sessions from for over 20 years because of plans to redevelop the site.

The site will be developed into flats, but as part of the redevelopment a space in the basement, ground floor and part of the first floor will be provided for Kidzmania.

Building works have been delayed and we now hope to be in the newly developed site late in 2020.

Rather than close down while the building works take place we have temporarily relocated the Church Hall at the back of the old Kidzmania. While this is a smaller setting and less well adapted to accommodating a children’s soft play centre we are making the best of it and are still welcoming families and children wanting to attend soft play sessions.

The plans for the New Kidzmania will result in a space that is a little bigger than the current version and much higher in parts. We are looking at the possibility of incorporating a small climbing wall, and will have a better area for the under threes.

Kidzmania would love to hear what other ideas parents and children have and if possible will include some of the suggestions in the plans for the new site.
