Who we are:
Healthwatch Hackney is the local independent champion for local residents, including families, who use local health and care services.
We believe health and care services should:
- treat people with dignity and respect
- value diversity
- encourage participation and
- work together with people who use those services
What we do:
We aim to improve local services by:
- Collecting people’s feedback on health and care services and sharing this with commissioners
- Helping people find services that will support their health and wellbeing
- Enabling patients and service users to have a voice and influence decision makers
Healthwatch Hackney is part of the Healthwatch network linked to Healthwatch England, a statutory committee of the Care Quality Commission.
