Who are we?
Contact is a well-respected UK-wide charity providing specialist SEND advice, information, and support to parents and carers of all disabled children - no matter what their condition.
What do we do?
Contact provides specialist information and advice for parents and carers and service providers working with parents and carers.
They are the government partner for parent carer participation and are involved in running the National Network of Parents Carer Forums (NNPCF).
Contact also runs national campaigns and research for better services and support for parents and carers of disabled children.
Contact's A- Z of conditions library
Contact provides an A-Z of conditions library to help parents find out more about their child's condition. Reliable, medically approved information on more than 400 medical conditions, including rare syndromes. Access the a - Z conditions library here.
Contact's 1:1 parent carer Listening Ear service
Our 1-1 telephone appointments with a family support worker for parent carers looking for practical and emotional support. You might be struggling emotionally and looking for strategies to help you cope. Or maybe you just need to talk to someone who understands the extra challenges you face and who can point you in the right direction to get the support you need for your family.
