Parent support

Contact can help parents or carers of children with the same disability or condition make contact with each other to share experiences and provide support. This can be on a local and national basis through their family linking service. You can use their website to find specialist support groups for parents based on medical conditions.

Contact's cafefully thought out guides are an excellent source of information for families, young people and professionals wishing to support those caring for children or young people with additional needs and or disabilities.

Contact were previoulsy known as Contact a family. They changed their name in September 2017 and remain commited to continuing to support families with disabled children.
