When we start working with a young person our focus is on relationship building, interest led learning, social, emotional and academic focusses.
We bring together expert teams of Specialist Teachers and Learning Support Assistants. Together we have over 400 years of experience delivering high quality creative, child centred, learning plans with a functional focus.
We can work with young people who are:
- out of school
- attending school part time
- need support within a school environment
Our team has experienced of working with schools and other professionals to achieve a common goal of re-engagement with a formal schooling or a career pathway. 100% of our students successfully reintegrate into school, college or employment.
We believe each child is unique, and can thrive and reach their full potential with the right support and opportunities.
What do we do?
Our bespoke plans are created with the child at the centre. We meet them where they are, work to their pace and particular needs, utilising their interests and a variety of engagement methods.
Once they are ready for more directed activities, we have a menu of options:
Qualifications
We offer accreditation in Functional English, Maths and Essential Digital Skills (Entry level 1 – Level 2) through NCFE
ASDAN qualifications
Arts Award certification
Student wellbeing
We offer programmes to support students with social communication and anxiety needs.
We work in collaboration with the local authority, schools or colleges to support the student in their successful transition back into a formal school setting at a time that is right for them
We prioritise out in the community experiences which fosters independent life skills and encourages young people to engage with life outside their home.
Partnership working
Where a child has a mixed package of learning, we liaise closely with other providers and professionals
We work closely with other providers when looking at bespoke packages, such as outdoor alternative provisions.
Our work can prevent out of borough placements by offering a bespoke service for children and young people presenting with complex needs.
Preparing for adulthood
For our young people post 16 we can offer and support work experience links.

- Referral Details
We are only able to accept referrals from the Local Authority.
We welcome discussions with schools and parents but the Local Authority must be in agreement with our involvement.
It is the Local Authority who funds the provision we offer.- What to do if you have a complaint
We seek termly feedback from parents and carers on our provision, whether that be positive feedback or a complaint. Feedback is collated and shared with the relevant authority in a regular monitoring report.
We ask families to raise any concerns or complaints with us when they arise either by email or telephone. This is so we can respond as soon as possible, within 24 hours or 72 hours at weekends.
We have a full complaints policy available on request or from our website.
If a family is unhappy with our response or feel the need to raise their concern with an independent agency, they may choose to contact their Local Authority Case Officer.
If a complaint relates to safeguarding concerns, the family should contact the LADO Local Authority Designated Officer.
