Who we are:
The Crisis Service - Home treatment team is a hospital-based Crisis Intervention Team that offers round the clock assessment and treatment of mental health emergencies for people experiencing mental health problems requiring urgent assessment.
What we do:
Clients are initially assessed by a trained nurse and may be seen by a psychiatrist.
Help from service includes referral on to specialist agencies for either:
- prescription / medication
- advice / support
Adults who are experiencing a mental health crisis should go to A&E where the Home Treatment Team have someone available 24 hours a day.
