Most children’s can have their additional needs met through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, high quality early years practice and through additional intervention and differentiation organised by the setting.

Settings are also able to access support from external sources including the Speech and Language Therapy Service and Area SENCos.

The Early Years Inclusion Funding is a budget to support children aged 3 or 4 years of age who have low level needs or emerging needs related to a Special Educational Need and/or Disability (SEND) and because of this require additional support.

  • 25th March 2020 (deadline for submissions 11th March 2020)
  • 8th July 2020 (deadline for submissions 24th June 2020)

What to do if you have a complaint

If you have any feedback about the service you received – something you like or are not happy with; then do talk about it with the worker or manager in the service, so that they can look at how they deliver their service.
