Who we are:

The Children’s Physiotherapy Service undertake assessment and treatment of children who have difficulties with mobility and gross motor tasks like sitting, standing and walking due to disability or developmental delay.

This includes assessment and provision of equipment and where appropriate additional services including:

What we do:

Physiotherapy Drop In is for parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-18yrs

You do not need an appointment. 

This is a first come first serve clinic so you may have to wait to be seen.

Children and young people will be seen for 15 min by a physiotherapist.

At the sessions you can:

Discuss any concerns or questions about your child’s development with a physiotherapist?

Get advice or tips on your child's development from a physiotherapist.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • aged 0 –18 (or 19 if still in a Hackney special school)
  • attending school in City or Hackney with a Hackney GP
  • residing in City or Hackney with a Hackney GP


Drop in clinic is open to everyone who needs advice from a physiotherapist for their child or young person. 

What to do if you have a complaint

Complaints can be made to a clinician or manager in the service or alternatively through the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). The service can be contacted on 020 8510 7315 or
