What do we do?

The A&E WellFamily Service - Family Action offers 6-8 sessions of counseling where we provide the opportunity for clients to discuss the challenges they are facing, explore ways to overcome them, and set some goals to work towards this.

We can provide support to clients facing the following:

  • Low to moderate mental health problems
  • Psychosocial difficulties
  • Social isolation/loneliness
  • Bereavement/loss
  • Domestic violence
  • Workplace or school stressors
  • Financial worries
  • Housing difficulties

Through those 6-8 sessions clients are provided with counseling around agreed goals and are supported to reach them.
