Telephone: 020 8820 7043

Who we are:

English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) refers to the teaching of English to people whose first language is not English, but who are living in an English-speaking country.

The ESOL Advice Service in Hackney works with lots of ESOL organisations to help you to find a suitable class.

What we do:

Advice sessions run from the last week of September to the last week of June each academic year.

There are no advice sessions during school holidays and we are also closed for 4 weeks from the second week of December.

You can join a FREE English class by coming to one of the ESOL advice sessions.

Please check our website for the latest session information - Hackney ESOL Advice Service

A teacher will check your English speaking, listening, reading and writing and then help you to find a class which fits around you.

Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available and you can meet other people who are also learning English at the class.
