Who we are: 

Hackney Bulls is a caring, family-oriented Rugby Club run with the help of volunteers. 

What we do: 

Rugby is based on running with the ball in hand. In its most common form a game is between two teams of 15 players using an oval-shaped ball on a rectangular field with H-shaped goalposts on each try line.

Hackney Rugby - Hackney Bulls have teams based on age groups.

• Under 6's (School Year 1)
• Under 18 girls
• Under 17 boys

Through playing games and belonging to a caring, family-oriented club children learn the core values of England Rugby:

• discipline
• sportsmanship
• respect
• enjoyment and
• teamwork

The youngest teams play tag rugby and then as they get older they play mini rugby.

Skills and fitness needed for playing rugby union are gradually built. 

Playing rugby builds self-confidence and social skills as well as keeping children fit.
