Who we are:
We are a specialist school catering for students from the age of 5 to 18 (19 - 25 year olds are catered for by our college) with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, epilepsy, behavioural difficulties and acquired brain injury.
As well as day places we offer flexible residential options including weekly (Monday to Friday), termly and 52 week full time residential care.
What we do:
Our service is tailored to each individual student. We ensure that the level of support the student requires is always available, but our aim is to work with each individual to ensure they reach their maximum potential and lead as independent a life as possible.
Our sixth form and college work with a large number of employers and local mainstream colleges to encourage independence and develop employability skills for the future.
Our ‘waking day’ curriculum means students continue their learning once the school or college day has ended and there are lots of opportunities to develop independent living skills and join in extracurricular activities including going to the cinema, bowling and the weekly disco.
Our educational experts are supported by our on-site multi-disciplinary team which includes speech and language, occupational health, physio and play therapists. In addition, our world renowned neurologists, medical registrars, psychologists and nursing team ensure we can provide the integrated support your child or young person might require without the need to access multiple services in the community which can sometimes be a major cause of anxiety.
