Adult Social Care in Hackney is made up of different teams. Each team provides information, services and support for a different group of people. This helps them focus on understanding the needs of each specific group.
The Long Term Care Team for adults provides services for those:
- already getting council funded support and care
- those with no direct recourse to public funds
- adults aged 18 plus with complex care needs
- adults with substance misuse problems
- adults with physical disabilities
- older people

People who are eligable for this service must be receiving:
- council funded support
- direct payments from adult social care
- council managed homecare services
What to do if you have a complaint
If you have any feedback about the service you received – something you like or are not happy with; then do talk about it with the worker or manager in the service, so that they can look at how they deliver their service.
