Adult Social Care in Hackney is made up of different teams. Each team provides information, services and support for a different group of people. This helps them focus on understanding the needs of each specific group.

The Long Term Care Team for adults provides services for those:

  • already getting council funded support and care
  • those with no direct recourse to public funds
  • adults aged 18 plus with complex care needs 
  • adults with substance misuse problems
  • adults with physical disabilities
  • older people

People who are eligable for this service must be receiving:

  • council funded support
  • direct payments from adult social care
  • council managed homecare services 

What to do if you have a complaint

If you have any feedback about the service you received – something you like or are not happy with; then do talk about it with the worker or manager in the service, so that they can look at how they deliver their service.
