Who we are...

Museum of the Home explores the home and the changing way people have lived over the past 400 years reflecting changes in society and behaviour as well as style, fashion and taste.

Different rooms showing the changing period styles leads visitors on a walk through time from 17th to 20th century modern, contemporary living.

The rooms are complemented by period gardens and a walled herb garden which shows how the domestic garden has changed over time.

Museum of the Home offers:
