Who we are:
For over 20 years, Hackney City Farm has been giving the local community the opportunity to experience farming right in the heart of the city.
The farm has developed into a popular community resource, providing a successful mix of commercial and community activities, improving the farm’s sustainability and investing in the local community.
What we do:
As a local resource, Hackney City Farm offers many opportunities for learning and leisure to a wide cross-section of the community.
Hackney City Farm’s commercial offer provides licensed office work space to other charities, supplies fresh produce and growing mediums, rooms available to book for parties or events and sells souvenirs and toys.
Things to do:
As well as providing the opportunity to experience farming right in the heart of the city Hackney City Farm is also home to:
- a wide range of farm animals
- cottage garden
- bee keeping activities
- the award winning Frizzante café,
- a well-equipped pottery studio
- Bike Yard East
- a straw bale building
- meeting and training rooms and offices
Regular activities and events take place weekly, monthly and otherwise.
