The Nisai Virtual Academy delivers personalised, online learning solutions for students who can't go to school for medical or other reasons.
Students access learning by logging onto the website and, through their personalised timetables, engage in live lessons with their teachers and classmates.
This style of learning can be extremely effective for students who:
- have autism, dyslexia or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis known as M.E.
- are being bullied at school
- need to learn at a different pace or style
- are "hard to reach"
Each learner has a personal wellbeing plan, incorporating their individual learning plan, which is reviewed every six weeks and updated to provide focussed support.
