Who we are: 

Finding suitable footwear for a range of special needs is not always easy or straight forward.

Most standard shoe shops will try to help you but very few will have the necessary expertise to understand your needs. 

Wide Fit Shoes are a London based specialist footwear retailer established in 1965.

We have a long standing range of experience in dealing with ‘problematic feet".

What we do:

Wide Fit Shoes offer shoes for orthotics designed for anybody that wears corrective devices including braces and foot splints realted to disability or a helath condition.

Advice and consultation is provided free for  many conditions that result in standard footwear not being suitable.

We are happy to answer queries by phone where possible.  

Parents/ carers and adults can make an appointment for a free consultation.

Adults themselves and parents / carers of children with special needs or disability are most welcome to visit our shop in Harrow. 

There is no obligation to buy shoes or footwear. 

We assist; orthopaedic hospitals, podiatrists, foot clinics, general health clinics and doctors’ surgeries in all London Boroughs, offering personal referrals and specialist advice so that the footwear needs of disabled people and those with specific health conditions can be correctly catered for.
