Service details
Service which helps people to gain the aspiration, confidence and ability to develop independent living skills. Service users are encouraged to share their skills and talents with the wider community.
Support includes helping people to:
- manage accommodation (e.g. payment of rent/bills, dealing with repairs etc.)
- maintain a tenancy (e.g. making sure they keep to their side of their tenancy agreement and ensuring that the landlord does the same)
- deal with benefit issues,
- seek day and evening activities,
- seek employment,
- integrate into the wider community,
- participate in leisure activities,
- take responsibility for managing relationships,
- attend health appointments.
