Who we are...

Respond are a national charity that provides therapeutic and support services to people with learning disabilities, autism or both who have experienced trauma. Respond pandemic online support sessions.

Respond are committed to bringing about positive change for it's clients and their families, enabling them to lead richer and more resilient lives.

What we do...

Covid-19 has caused changes to our lives and a lot of people are in need of more extra support during this time.

To help meet this increased need Respond are launching three new online support groups supporting people who have had feelings of anxiety, feelings of isolation or have found difficult to cope due to the challenging Covid-19 situation.

There are two online support groups for young people (16-30) with learning disabilities, autism or both, and one group for family members of people (adults or children) with learning disabilities, autism or both.

The sessions will run for 6-12 weeks start runing during August.

They are free of charge and currently (07/08/20) have spaces available.

It is hoped the groups will provide much needed headspace to share experiences and find strategies to better cope during these times.
