Step Ahead - Parental Steps to Success is an online project that is specifically aimed at engaging and supporting parents aged 16 or over with young children living in one of 21 London boroughs. This is a self-referral service for Parents with at least 1 child between 6months and 11 years + Employed earning under the LLW (11.05phr). The goal is to increase the employment rate of parents helping those currently out of work into employment, and those in work to sustain and progress their careers.

Services provided by Step Ahead for the public: 

- One to one coaching and guidance

- Advice regarding childcare and benefits available

- Accredited training

- Help with job search or progression within their current role

- Interviews for ring-fenced jobs
