The Greenhouse GP Practice is an NHS service that provides health care and also host other services like Hackney Housing who provide clients with specific advice. 

What we do...

The Greenhouse GP Practice provides medical care services including:

• Physical health assessment
• Mental health assessment
• Management of existing conditions
• Investigation and diagnosis of new symptoms
• Cervical screening
• Contraception services
• Vaccinations
• Some maternity services.

Housing support and advice

The Greenhouse particularly provides care to people living in hostels or supported accommodation, rough sleepers, and people who spend a significant amount of time on the street or in other public places. This includes the hidden homeless, such as people in squats or ‘sofa surfers.’

We work closely with social care workers in identifying homeless people, developing comprehensive care plans, work towards reducing rough sleeping, reducing emergencies admissions, and worsening medical conditions.

The Greenhouse GP Practice shares premises with Hackney Housing officers who offer Daily Sessions throughout the week. 

The Greenhouse can make referrals to other agencies for housing support for example Engage Hackney - Floating Support.
