Who we are

Kisharon was founded in 1976 to provide an education for children with learning disabilities.

Today, Kisharon offers opportunity and support - as well as education - to adults and children with complex and profound learning disabilities.

Individuals supported by Kisharon are taught the skills they need to live independently within the community and to lead fulfilling lives.

Mission and vision

Our vision – is that people with learning difficulties will live in a world where they have the same opportunities as their mainstream peers.

Our mission – is to support each unique person so they can progress, achieve independence, enjoy life and to be included in the communities in which we live, through meaningful vocation, and a fulfilling social life.

What we do

At Kisharon we explore each individual’s potential and find the key to unlock it through person-centred care.

We understand how living with physical and learning difficulties affects the whole family and are there to support individuals and their families through each stage of life and into adulthood.

Through warmth, love, structured learning and support, we partner our people as they progress through life.

Kisharon cares for each person to create a safe, happy and fulfilled future for them.
