Who we are...

Refugee Women's Association (RWA) is a registered charity and London wide organisation that provides specific advice and services to women who are refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in London.


What we do...

We provide advice to individual women or group sessions at refugee agencies, colleges and community organisations.

We provide advice, guidance and counselling in confidence to refugee women at our offices and through outreach and partnerships projects like Hackney Advice Service. 

We can offer advice on:

  • English Language Courses (ESOL)
  • Rights and Entitlements
  • Professional Re-qualification
  • Access to further and higher education
  • Statutory Financial Support and Charitable Trusts that give educational grants
  • We also assist clients who cannot get their children accepted by schools

Since 2001 RWA has been registered with the Community Legal Services. This means we have been able to increase our services from the core advice on education, employment and training to all areas of general advice.
